Walton launched ‘Next Generation SpectraQ TV’ with QD (Quantum Dot) Plus technology, which is capable of producing about 99 to 100 per cent colour of the National Television System Committee (NTSC) provided colour, a press statement said yesterday.
Also, the viewers will enjoy more vivid and natural colour in Walton SpectraQ TV.
It was disclosed at an event titled “Innovative Technology Introducing Programme” held at the conference room of Walton media office in the capital yesterday.
Walton Group’s First Senior Deputy Director and TV Sourcing Engineering Head Mostafa Nahid Hossain said the innovation of next generation SpectraQ TV with QD+ technology, developed by the engineers of the research and development division of Walton, is resulted in starting a new era in the television’s research activities across the world, the statement added.
A television of general technology usually emits 68 to 70 per cent colour of the NTSC whereas QD+ technology based SpectraQ TV of Walton brand will produce 99 to 100 percent colour of NTSC and thus bring its viewers to the world of true colour, he said.
