The Rural Development and Co-operatives Division has decided to undertake a project for providing hassle free passengers services on motorbike through its countrywide associations, reports BSS.
"The government has asked cooperatives concerned to include 10 associations each for the capital and outside the capital city, as pilot programme," state minister for Rural Development and Co-operatives division Mashiur Rahman Ranga told this, while presiding a review meeting at his ministry conference room yesterday. He said the pilot programme would make the transport system easy for common people movement along with cheap and generate employment like other countries.
Referring "Ekti Bari Ekti Khamar" a successful and specialised project of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, the state minister warned that the government would not accept any negligence and dilemma in the project work.
He also instructed all officials concerned to ensure physical works of all the projects visible within the next month, while stern action will be taken against project officials and contactors concerned. During the review meeting, secretary of the division Dr Prashanta Kumar Roy and other high officials were present.
