Based on a story of writer and media personality Faridur Reza Sagar, a government-grant film titled ‘Lal Sabujer Sur’ will be released on the Victory Day tomorrow.
Directed by Mushfiqur Rahman Gulzar, the world premiere of the film will be screened on Channel i on December 16 at 2:20pm. Besides the world premiere, the film will be released in Star Cineplex, Jamuna Blockbuster and other movie halls on the same day.
The story of the film revolves around its protagonist Imon. The story shows that after the ‘dark night’ of March 25, 1971, Imon’s parents take shelter in Ichapur village where he gets introduced to a boy named Badal. Badal’s parents were murdered by the Pakistan military. Badal joins the freedom fighters to fight against the occupation force to avenge his parents. Imon also goes to the training camp of the freedom fighters to take training. One day, the Pakistani army attack Ichapur village and kill Imon’s parents along with thousands of people. Imon then takes shelter with a freedom fighter.
The cast of the film includes Omor Sani, Subroto, Sera Jaman, Rafikullah Selim, Jhuna Chowdhury, Likhon and others. l
