CHITTAGONG: Bangladesh Chhatra League (BCL) central committee yesterday permanently expelled six leaders of its Chittagong University (CU) unit for their alleged involvement in recent clashes on the university campus, reports UNB.
The expelled BCL leaders are BCL CU Unit Vice-President Mohammad Rakib Uddin, Joint-General Secretary Abu Torab Porosh, Organising Secretary Mohammad Arman Meah, Entertainment Secretary Mijanur Rahman and Members Saidul Islam Saieed and Areful Hoque Opu.
The expulsion order came up in a press release signed by BCL central committee President Saifur Rahman Sohag and General Secretary SM Zakir Hossain.
A four-member probe team of BCL central committee on Saturday visited CU and after investigation the team found their involvement in anti- organisational activities.
