Khaleda in crisis, not country, says Obaidul Quader

UNB

Awami League general secretary Obaidul Quader yetserday said it is not the country but BNP chairperson Khaleda Zia herself is ‘in serious crisis’, reports UNB.
“Bangladesh is now moving towards sustainable development and public welfare under the visionary leadership of Sheikh Hasina. The people of the country are now in a comfortable situation due to the country’s development,” the AL general secretary said in a statement.
Obaidul Quader, also the Road Transport and Bridges Minister, issued the statement protesting Khaleda’s Friday’s statement where she said the country is now passing through a bad time.
She claimed human rights situation of the country deteriorated significantly for the repressive and oppressive activities of the ruling party.
Quader said,“ But, Khaleda Zia can’t accept the development and welfare of the of the country and the nation. That’s why it is not the country rather BNP chairperson Khaleda Zia herself in grave crisis.”
It becomes a joke when Khaleda Zia issues statement in favour human rights who is the mastermind of killing innocent people through petrol bomb, burning of sleeping bus labourers to death and killing law enforcers and political opponents while in power misusing government agencies, Quader said.
In the statement, the Awami League general secretary urged the BNP Chairperson to accept the positive political trend shunning the mentality of vengeance.
