Bangladesh Association of Banks donates blankets

Bangladesh Association of Banks (BAB) has donated blankets to Prime Minister’s Relief Fund for the cold stricken people of the country, reports BSS. President of the Association Nazrul Islam Mazumder and chief executives of the banks handed over the blankets yesterday. Prime Minister’s Press Secretary Ihsanul Karim said receiving the blankets the Prime Minister thanked the bank owners for coming forward for the cause of humanity. She also thanked them for responding to her requests whenever she made to stand beside the distressed people. Sheikh Hasina said the private banks are contributing a lot in the development of Bangladesh.
