For 32 years, black-headed seagulls have come to winter in Kunming since 1985. Every year, their number exceeds 10,000 and is increasing. Their coming takes on a specular landscape in Kunming, attracting tourists at home and abroad. Vigilant as they are in nature, black-headed seagulls have adapted themselves to close contact with Kunming citizens and tourists who have continuously shown their friendliness to these little creatures coming afar from Siberia. Nowadays, feeding sea gulls is very attractive to both locals and tourists. Here in the photo, a girl is feeding the seagulls. Photo by Zhang Tong
