Criminal held with firearms

Police arrested an alleged criminal with one kg heroine, one pipe gun and one cartridge from Newmarket Park area in Jessore district town on Sunday night.
The arrestee was Hash Liton, a resident of Birampur Kalitala area in the town.Illias Hossain, OC of Jessore Kotwali Police Station said on secret information, a team of police conducted the drive in the area at 11.30 pm and arrested the criminal.
