Missing girl found dead

A minor girl, who went missing on Friday afternoon, was found dead in a pond at Goaria of Delduwar upazila yesterday. Quoting witnesses, police said local people spotted the floating body of Kalpana Akhter, 7, daughter of Moyen Uddin of the village, and informed them. Later, police recovered the body and sent it to Tangail Medical College Hospital morgue for autopsy. Officer-in-Charge of Delduwar Police Station Mosaraf Hossain said a UD case was filed with Delduwar Police Station.
