2 schoolboys killed in road crash

Gazipur: Two schoolboys were killed and two others injured as a bus hit an autorickshaw in Uttar Hijaltali area of Kaliakoir upazila yesterday, reports UNB.
The deceased were identified as Ratan Saha, son of Laxman and Nahid Hossain, son of Ansar Ali, both residents of Tansutrapur area of the upazila and student of class-VII of Golam Nabi Pilot High School. Masudur Rahman, sub-inspector of Gorai highway police, said the Dhaka-bound ‘Night Star Paribahan’ hit the autorickshaw carrying the four schoolboys on Dhaka-Tangail highway at noon, leaving them critically injured. Later, they were taken to upazila health complex where doctors declared the duo dead.
Police seized the bus from the spot.
