Malaysian trade expo begins in capital Dec 9

A three-day trade expo and seminar on bilateral business prospects between Bangladesh and Malaysia will begin in the capital on December 9, a press statement said yesterday.

The Malaysian Association of Indian Women Entrepre-neurs and Professionals, known as WiE, and Malaysia External Trade Development Corporation (MATRADE), jointly organised the event to be held at Lakeshore Hotel.
A number of business entrepreneurs from Malaysia, Singapore, Bangladesh and some other Asian countries will participate in the event.
“We are confident that Malaysian entrepreneurs participating in the marketing mission would benefit tremendously from a huge market of possibilities with a Bangladeshi population of 160 million,” WiE President Ms Swapna Das said.
“Our main object is to promote bilateral business between Bangladesh and Malaysia and inspire entrepreneurs,” she added.
