First ever BEXIMCO Pharma ABBC Business Award held in Australia

Australia Bangladesh Business Council (ABBC) recognised the success of Bangladeshi business community and their outstanding business achievement in Australia at the first ever Beximco Pharma Presents ABBC Business Award 2016, held recently at Novotel Brighton Beach, New South Wales in Australia, says a press release.

The award was given in 8 distinguished categories. Each category winner was selected through a rigorous jury process. 
Monirul Islam, chairperson of ABBC, welcomed the guests to the mega celebration with his opening speech.  The chief guest of the ceremony Kazi Imtiaz Hossain, high commissioner of Bangladesh to Australia, congratulated the winners in his speech. John Dowd QC and Federal Member of the Parliament Matt Thistlethwaite were the special guests of the event. Rabbur Reza, chief operating officer of Beximco Pharmaceuticals Ltd and Shariful Islam, founder and managing director of Bangladesh Brand Forum (BBF), also spoke on the occasion.
The gala night honoured 14 organisations and individuals under eight categories both as winner and runner-up for their outstanding business success in Australia and contribution to the development of community.
