Man held with firearms

MAGURA: Police in a drive arrested a youth with a pistol, a magazine and six bullets from Charmahespur village under Sreepur upazila of the district on Friday night, reports BSS.
The arrested was Minu Mridha, 26, son of Yadh Ali Mridha, a resident of the village.Acting on a tip-off, a team of the police conducted the drive in the area and arrested Minu and recovered the firearms after searching his body, said Officer-in-charge of Sreepur Police Station.
