JS goes into session today

The current parliament’s 13th session gets underway today 4 after a 58-day recess, reports UNB. Before the House goes into session at 4:00pm on the day, the parliament business advisory committee will meet with Speaker Dr Shirin Sharmin Chaudhury in the chair at 3pm to fix the duration and business of the session. President Abdul Hamid on November 14 last convened the session exercising the power bestowed upon him as per the Article 72 (1) of the constitution. Earlier, the 12th and budget session of the 10th parliament was prorogued on October 6 last.
