Celebrated actors Shaiduzzaman Selim and Badhon will appear together after three years in the tele-film titled ‘The Hero’, directed by FQ Peter and written by Rajibul Islam Rajib. Presented by Lux, the tele-film will be aired on Channel i after the Midday News on July 15.
The plot of the tele-film centres on Shamim, who is a very simple individual with big dreams of becoming a hero in a cinema one day. To pursue his dreams, he sells off his land and the obsession goes to such a point that in his quest to become the hero, he loses his love Ritu. None of it seems worth it as he is still unable to realise his dreams.
But in the end, Shamim has his dreams come true and does indeed become a national hero. All the Television channels seek him. But the story does not conclude there. To see the climax, the viewers must tune in next Wednesday.
Regarding the tele-film, Shaiduzzaman Selim said,
“The character that I am playing reflects the ongoing issues in the society. It is a reality. There are people around us who are like that. I have done the work for ‘The Hero’ with a lot of excitement and eagerness. I am certain that the viewers will like it. Badhon gave an amazing performance as an actress.”
Badhon said, “Working with an immensely popular and notable actor like Shaiduzzaman Selim means enriching one’s acting abilities. I would like to express my gratitude to FQ Peter for giving me that opportunity to work in such a tele-film.”
To note, Shaiduzzaman Selim and Badhon previously appeared together in a tele-drama directed by Anjan Aich. On the occasion of upcoming Eid, Shahiduzzaman Selim will be seen in Aniruddho Russel-directed sequel drama serial ‘Niyamater Qayamat’.
