The name ‘Azam Khan’ was established in the world of Bangla songs just after the Liberation War of Bangladesh. Before that he was in the battle field to fight for his country and countrymen. He was a dedicated Freedom Fighter as well as a great singer. His unique singing style earned him the fame of ‘Pop Guru’ of Bangladesh in his lifetime.
He had received enormous popularity for many of his legendary songs like ‘Ore Saleka Ore Maleka Ore Fulbanu Parli Na Bachate’, ‘Rail-liner Oi Bostite’ ‘Ami Zare Chai Re’ ‘Anamika’ ‘Chup’ and many more.
He was a true rock star and still a hero of Bangla songs. Bringing all his all songs together, Grameenphone has released a collection titled ‘Azam Khan Golden Collections’ on the occasion of Eid. All songs of Azam Khan are now available at the newly launched GP Music from July 7.
