Dhaka University authorities yesterday handed over an admission seeker to Shahbagh police on charge of allegedly passing admission test through unethical way.
Ayan Kumar Das, who stood 3rd in the admission test for the ‘D’ unit (commerce), could not pass a viva-voce taken afresh in the morning after reports of fraudulence.
He only secured five out of 30 marks in Bangla, the lone subject in which the examination was taken.
Earlier, Ayan secured 27 out of 30 in Bangla during the test of ‘D’ unit of the Dhaka University.
The latest move of taking intake test came as allegations of passing ‘D’ unit tests under social science faculty through forgery surfaced.
