Sylhet: The government is likely to set up two separate High Court benches in Chittagong and Sylhet. reports, UNB.
Chief Justice Surendra Kumar Sinha came up with the information while addressing the annual dinner of Sylhet Bar Association on Thursday evening.
Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina is keen on setting up the two HC benches in the two divisional headquarters, said the Chief Justice.
The annual dinner and orientation programme of the new lawyers was held on the Sylhet court premises.
It was presided over by AKM Shafiul Alam, president of Sylhet Bar Association.
