Nat’l Jute Day to be observed on March 6

The country is going to observe the National Jute Day for the first time from next year as part of the government’s continued efforts to revive the golden era of jute that had been the number one export earner until late seventies, reports BSS.
“The National Jute Day has been fixed on March 6 from next year,” State Minister for Jute and Textiles Mirza Azam announced this at a meeting held at his ministry yesterday, said a press release.
