Pran-RFL Group gets new chairman, CEO

Ahsan Khan Chowdhury has been appointed as the new chairman and chief executive officer of Pran-RFL Group, the company said in a statement yesterday. 

Board of directors of PRAN-RFL Group made the unanimous decision recently. Earlier, he was the deputy managing director (DMD) of the conglomerate.
Major General Amjad Khan Chowdhury (retd), the father of Ahsan Khan Chowdhury, breathed his last on July 8 in 2015. Amjad Khan Chowdhury founded the group in 1981. The visionary person Amjad Khan was the CEO of Pran-RFL Group until his death, the statement added. Ahsan Khan Chowdhury joined the company in 1992 after completion of his studies from USA.
