Animas homage to Liberation War martyrs

Prominent Rabindra Sangeet singer Anima Roys new album has been released to mark the Victory Day. Her new album titled Matribhumi was released yesterday in a TV programme titled Gaane Gaane Sokal on Channel i. She informed that as a part of paying homage to our Liberation War martyrs, she has released this album.
DhakaLive has news that Poet Asad Chowdhury, Poet Mahalanabish, Rabindra Sangeet signer Sadi Muhammad and Lily Islam were present during the album launching ceremony at the Chetona Chattar of Channel i.
Anima Roy said about her album, A sense of commitment to the country worked behind brining out this album. The sense of patriotism should widely be practiced among the young generation of our country. As a singer and a teacher, this album is my tribute to the martyrs of our Liberation War.
The music direction of the album has been done by Pratyush Bandyopadhyay. The album features the songs like Aji Amar Bangladesher Hridoy Theke, Jodi Tor Dak Shune Keu Na Ase, Ebar Tor Mora Gaange, Shubho Karmapathe Dharo Nirbhoy Gaan, O Amar Desher Mati, Bartho Praner Abarjana, Chhi Chhi Chokher Jole, Amra Sobai Raja, Amra Milechi Aj, Je Tomay Chhare Chharuk, Sarthok Janam Amar and Banglar Mati Banglar Jol.
Animas six other albums, those were released earlier, are Kotha Jao, Ami Chitrangada, Icchamoti, Robir Alo, Tomaro Birohe and Praner Manush.
