Miladunnabi on December 13

Staff reporter
Miladunnabi on December 13

Holy Eid-e-Miladunnabi will be observed on December 13 as the moon of the Hijri calendar month of Rabiul Awwal of 1438 was not sighted anywhere in the country.

The decision came from a National Moon Sighting Committee meeting at Islamic Foundation in Baitul Mukarram National Mosque yesterday evening. The day is a national holiday.
The committee said as the moon was not sighted anywhere in the country, the month of Rabiul Awwal will begin from December 2 and the holy Eid-e-Miladunnabi, the anniversary of birth and demise of Prophet (pbuh) Hazrat Muhammad, will be observed on December 13.
