Opposition Leader Raushan Ershad yesterday suggested Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina to roam around the capital in guise to see the real picture of miseries facing by the common people, reports UNB.
“Come out in guise at night and roam Dhaka to see how people lead life. You can come out wearing a veil. If so, you can see actual picture,” she said noting public sufferings in her valedictory speech at the 2nd budget session of the 10th parliament.
Raushon said her party participated in the two budget sessions of the current parliament and the budgets were passed amid presence of her party.
“We want to show what the role the opposition should play in Parliament. Though our party is small, we’re vocal and want to play due role of the opposition in the House,” she said.
The Opposition leader urged the government to form a committee with high-officials to stop illegal drug peddling especially in the slums of the city.
