Mushfiq rejects Asif’s match-fixing claim

Barisal Bulls skipper Mushfiqur Rahim blasted Barisal Bulls’ brand ambassador singer Asif Akbar’s comment, stating that he along with Barisal Bulls’ fans and people became upset to hear the allegation of match-fixing in BPL from such celebrity.

What I will say—I could not believe it after hearing and seeing such derogatory comment on his facebook page. He is almost celebrity in our country and so educated person. I don’t expect that he can speak such words or he can write such baseless comment,” said Mushfiqur Rahim.
“It is boring and disparaging because whatever team I play for I always try to play my utmost best. In my team, all the local and foreign players played hard and professionally. It is the only source of our bread and butter. There is nothing big if anyone betray with it,” Rahim told media at his post-match conference.
“I got hurt what he wrote in his comment.  I don’t know in which state he wrote it. If I got him I want to ask him how and in what situation he had wished that players are involved in match fixing. I wrote that he is ensured but he has no concrete evidence. What type of this language is? It proves in what state he was in at that time,” he added.    
Local vocalist Asif Akbar on his facebook page wrote that the local and foreign players of the Barisal Bulls are involved in match-fixing. But he has no apparent evidence of it.
Bulls captain said that the way he wrote it is impossible for sane people to write such allegation except mad.
“He has passion for cricket. He was involved in it. It is a matter of disappointing to hear such types of allegation from such people. He could say that he is upset to set our games. He may be upset. I think for the team’s result made upset not only him but also Barisal Bulls’ fans and its people,” he said.
“We could not fare well, that’s the different thing. But the way he wrote it is not possible to write such thing for people except mad,” he also said.   
Barisal Bulls had staged an outstanding comeback by winning three matches on the trot following their shocking defeat in the opener. The team thereafter didn’t triumph any match. They so far played nine matches till now. 
After seeing such devastating defeat of the Bulls one after another, he wrote his words on his verified facebbok page.
Mushfiq of course gave an explanation of the cause behind their reportedly defeats. He said that they had no big hitter along with consistently conceded extra runs, which cost them much.
