Four arrested with gold ornaments at Dhaka airport

Customs officials yesterday arrested four people with various types of gold ornaments, foreign cigarette, milk powder, chocolates and diapers from Hazrat Shahjalal International airport in the capital, reports BSS.
Customs officials recovered the items after searching eight luggages, seized from Green Channel area of the airport and arrested the four, joint commissioner Sohel Arman of Dhaka Customs House told BSS. 
They seized 187 gold chains, three rings weighting 600 gramme, 397 cartons of foreign cigarette, 24kgs of milk powder, seven kg diapers and 4kgs of chocolates from their possessions.  
The recovered goods worth about Tk 33 lakh, am official said.
A case was lodged in this regard.
