Man ‘stabbed to death’

RAJSHAHI:  An employee of Life Insurance Corporation (LIC) was reportedly stabbed to death at Bulanpur area under Rajpara Police Station in the city yesterday, police and hospital sources said, reports BSS.
The deceased was identified as Russel Islam, 25, son of Hafizul Islam of Ghoshpara area under the same police station.
He was an employee of local office of LIC.
Referring to the locals Ruhul Amin, Ward Councilor of Rajshahi City Corporation, told journalists that some local youths armed with Russel Islam swooped on him and stabbed indiscriminately around 1.45 pm.
