Gas connection of Food Palace cut off

The vigilance team of Bakhrabad Gas Distribution Company Ltd yesterday cut off the gas the line of Food Palace restaurant at Noabazar in Chouddogram upazila in Comilla-Chittagong highway. Food Palace restaurant was using the residential gas connection provided to
an establishment of LGED illegally.  Naimul Alam Khan, Deputy General Manager of Public Relation Department of Bakhrabad Gas Distribution Company informed that Food Palace was established in a LGED building which had residential gas connection.
“But the line is used for commercial purpose in a restaurant. So we cut off the line as it was illegal,” said Khan.
