Hartal observed

 Khagrachhari: The day-long hartal was observed in Manikchhari upazila, enforced by Parbatya Bangali Chhatra Parishad, protesting an alleged rape incident in the upazila, reports UNB. No vehicle was seen plying the roads while no long-route bus left the upazila. Additional police forces have been deployed to avoid any untoward situation. Earlier on November 17, a gang of masked criminals picked up a woman from Kumari Para village and violated her.
