Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) slapped a ban on Jupitar Ghosh and Sanwar Hossain for their alleged involvement in match-fixing in BPL.
Recently, cricketer Jupitar Ghosh complaints that Rangpur Riders manager Sanwar Hossain gave him an indecent proposal. Thereafter, they sacked him with 25 percent payment not to agree with his proposal.
On the other hand, Riders in their statement said that they sacked Jupitar Ghosh due to breach the discipline of the team.
In this aspect, BCB imposed a temporary ban on Jupitar and Sanwar. But BPL governing council member secretary IH Mallick said that they will not pay the attention of match-fixing allegation from Jupitar Ghosh because he didn’t inform BCB immediately after the incident. He informed the matter after a 15-day-long hiatus.
“We do not take it seriously because there is a procedure of it. He informed the matter just half-a-month after the incident. Why he will inform us after so many days later?”
