BNP leader Sohel gets bail in 11 cases

The High Court yesterday granted a six-month interim bail to BNP joint secretary general Habib Un Nabi Khan Sohel in 11 cases filed with different police stations in the capital, reports UNB.
An HC bench of Justice AKM Abdul Hakim and Justice Bhabani Prasad Singha passed the order following bail petitions.
However, Sohel cannot get released from jail as he is accused in 114 more cases, said his counsel Advocate Joynul Abedin.
Earlier on October 9 last, Sohel surrendered before a Dhaka court and filed bail petition in 40 cases. The court sent him jail rejecting his bail petitions.
