Woman arms smuggler arrested

Members of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) yesterday arrested a suspected woman arms smuggler  in the town with a foreign made pistol and one round of bullet from her possession.
RAB-6 sources said, on a secrete information, a team of elite force led by Major Abdullah-Al-Mehedi raided  Keshabpur bus stand the area  and arrested Nasrin Akter Diba, 30, wife of Zahangir Hossaina, a resident of Harikhali in Bagerhat town.After searching, RAB members recovered the arms and ammunition, a cell phone set and Taka 3,130 from her possession.
Later, Diba was handed over to police and a case swa lodged with the Kotwali Police Station in this connection.
