Our Correspondent, Tangail

Police recovered the body of a newspaper hawker from a paddy field at Sarutia village in Sadar upazila yesterday morning. He was identified as Sanower Hossain, 38, a resident of the village. Family members said Sanower went out of his house on Wednesday morning to go to his workplace and did not return home. Nazmul Haque Bhuiyan, officer-in-charge of Tangail Model Police Station, said police recovered the body from a paddy field near his house. Miscreants might have killed Sanower at night and left the body in the paddy field. The body bore marks of injuries, said the OC. The body was sent to hospital morgue for autopsy.
