Online hilsa fish market inaugurated in Chandpur

Online hilsa fish market was formally inaugurated at Railway Fish terminal in the district town on Wednesday evening. Cabinet Secretary N M Ziaul Alam formally inaugurated it attending as chief guest. Hilsa fish lovers across the country can buy fresh and delicious hilsas and also other kinds of fish easily at a fair price through the online. The fishes will be made available for them through parcels.
But hilsa selling will remain totally closed during the government ban period, said DC of Chandpur Abdus Sabur Mandal. Additional Deputy Commissioner Abdul Hye said a website of Online Hilsa Fish Bazaar would be opened soon. All types of fish for sale will be kept in the market.
Chittagong Divisional Commissioner Ruhul Amin, Co-operatives Directorates Director General Mofizul Islam, DC of Chittagong Shamsul Arefin, DC of Noakhali SM Ferdous, DC of Comilla Jahangir Alam, Chandpur Police Super Shamsunnahar, Fish Merchants Association President and General Secretary Mizanur Rahman Kalu Bhuiyan and Idris Gazi were present, among others, on the occasion.
