Pakistan stage actress shot by gunmen

Unidentified gunmen opened fire on Pakistani stage actress Kismat Baig in Lahore yesterday.
According to ‘The Dawn’, Kismat Baig was travelling with another person in Lahore when two unidentified men riding a motorcycle shot at them.
Kismat Baig is reported to have received four bullets while her guard received one.  
Baig is currently admitted in Services Hospital, Lahore and is said to be in critical condition while his guard’s condition is said to be stable now. 
Lahore Police has initiated investigation into the incident.
Another stage actor, Hassan Khan, was tortured by suspects in Gulberg sometime ago. A case was registered against unidentified suspects following his brother’s complaint.
In September this year, television host of a local news channel ‘Abb Takk’ was allegedly poisoned by a ‘fan’.
