79 illegal establishments demolished in Sundarganj

The district administration has evicted 79 illegal establishments from Amtol Intersection area of Sundarganj upazila town of Gazibandha on Tuesday, reports BSS.
According to sources, a number of people of the upazila town established 70 business establishments and nine houses on 2.38 acres of government khas land illegally.
The government took a decision to construct Muktijoddha Complex there for operating the welfare activities of the freedom fighters of the upazila.
Executive magistrate Nazmul Huda directed by district magistrate and deputy commissioner M Abdus Samad along with police forces conducted the drive at the area and evicted the illegal establishments from there.
