Siam City Cement starts operation

Siam City Cement (Bangladesh) Limited has started production of cement in its own factory at Narayanganj, namely INSEE cement, a press statement said yesterday.
Siam City Cement Public Company Limited, one of the largest cement producers from Thailand, landed its footmark on July 26 in Bangladesh.
Following that footmark, the company announced the groundbreaking moment of producing and packaging its first bag of INSEE cement in Bangladesh by using clinkers which were supplied from the main operation in Thailand.
With an experience of 47 years and a prestigious protg from Siam City Cement Public Company Limited, it has already registered itself into a leading name in the building materials industry, spanning its operations in different verticals of the South East Asian region, the statement added.
Siam City Cement (Bangladesh) Limited aspires to bring regional experiences from the past and would like to shake hands with the potential prospects of the Bangladeshi cement market.
