3 held with stolen goods

RANGPUR: Three alleged thieves were arrested and huge stolen goods worth over Taka 1.67 crore of state-owned mobile phone operator Teletalk seized in Rangpur on Wednesday, police sources said, reports BSS.
The arrested persons are Nazmul Islam Nisar, 32, son of Azizul Islam and Limon Chowdhury, 32, son of Matlubar Rahman of Guratipara area in Rangpur city and Ibrahim Ali, 32, son of Mostafizur Rahman of Mandalpara village under Khansama upazila in Dinajpur district. According to police, some thieves stole a huge quantity of goods from the store room of Rangpur Zonal Office of Teletalk here sometime between last October 23 and 26 when its Zonal In-charge Alvi Rahman had been in Dhaka on official purposes.
