Although Bangladesh pace prodigy Mustafizur Rahman was scheduled to bowl with 60 km  intensity he bowled with 67 intensity at the National Cricket Academy (NCA) yesterday.

Mustafiz, who dubbed ‘Fizz’ to international media, had been practicing with the ball at net under the supervision of the Bangladesh bowling coach Courtney Walsh since November 1.
This time Rahman bowled a four-over spell with short run-up in front of the new physio Dean Conway and strength and conditioning coach Mario Villavarayen, who later increased two steps to see Mustafiz more comfortable with increased bowling intensity.
In this way if he could regain his bowling intensity, there will then be no uncertainty over his participation in the forthcoming full series against New Zealand, starting from December 26.
Keeping Mustafiz in the squad, Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) announced their 22-member contingent for the next tours in Australia-New Zealand.
Watching Mustafiz in bowling action, Dean Conway said that they all are preparing him so that he could play in all the three formats of games.
“Mustafiz is bowling with increased bowling intensity that is a good sign of his progress. Hopefully he will be fit fully within the next three-four weeks,” said Dean Conway.
“We are trying to prepare him so he could play in all the formats of games. So far Mustafiz’s progress is very good till now,” Conway told media after watching Mustafiz’s bowling action.
The surgical operation on Mustafiz’s injured left-shoulder was performed by distinguished shoulder surgeon Andrew Wallace at Bupa Cromwell Hospital in the south Kensington of London on August 11. Therefore, he returned home from London on August 22.
Mustafiz sustained injury on his left shoulder to play County Cricket for Sussex in June. Now he is in rehabilitation programme after returning home from London. He successfully passed two phase of his rehabilitation.
The physio also conducted the fitness training of another promising pacer Ebadot Hossain, who is also injured.
