Police have alerted the country’s all airports and land ports so that those involved in attacks on the Hindu community in Nasirnagar, Brahmanbaria cannot leave the country, reports UNB.
“Letters have been sent to different ports asking them to remain alert so that the culprits can’t flee the country,” Assistant Inspector General (Confidential) of the Police Headquarters Moniruzzaman told the news agency yesterday.
The alert was issued following a request of Brahmanbaria district police.
Meanwhile, police super of Brahmanbaria M Mizanur Rahman also wrote to the commanding officer of Border Guard Bangladesh battalion-12 stationed in the district requesting him to take steps so that those involved in the attacks could not cross the border, said additional police super Iqbal Hossain.
