Diaz committed suicide: Autopsy

The autopsy report of Diaz Irfan Chowdhury, assistant secretary of the pro-Awami League student organisation, was submitted yesterday.
In the autopsy it was mentioned that his reason of death was suicidal, said police.
However, his family members rejected the autopsy report.
The body of Diaz Irfan Chowdhury was found hanging in his residence near Gate No-2 of Chittagong University on November 20 night.
The mysterious death of a central Bangladesh Chhatra League leader sparked protests in Chittagong in last three days.
At the same time his family members claimed that he was murdered.
Reazul Masud, additional superintended of police (Special Branch) of Chittagong District Police said, We have received the autopsy report of Diaz. In the report it was shown that reason behind his death was suicidal.
Advocate Zubaida Sarwar Nipa, elder sister of Diaz Irfan Chowdhury, said We are sure our brother was killed. We are rejecting this report. We are demanding the intervention of higher authorities in this regard.
