Bipasha visits Bogra for Vaseline Healing Project

Minor skin problems like chapped lips, small cuts and wounds, and skin dryness are experienced by almost everyone. But in case of people living in poverty, these small skin problems can turn into major issues, says a press release. 

From that thought Unilever Bangladesh Limited’s skincare brand Vaseline has initiated its “Vaseline Healing Project” to help heal the skin of underprivileged people of Bangladesh. Unilever has teamed up with TMSS, one of the biggest NGOs in the country, to provide free skin care treatment along with petroleum jelly to the poverty stricken people. 
As part of the “Vaseline Healing Project”, Unilever Bangladesh Limited organized a special event in Bogra on November 22, 2016 at TMSS hospital. The chief guest of the event was the renowned actress and painter Bipasha Hayat, who is the brand ambassador of the campaign. The event was also attended by the District Commissioner of Bogra, Director of TMSS along with its doctors and nurses and representatives from Unilever Bangladesh Limited.
The event kicked off with Bipasha sharing her perspective on the healing project followed by speeches from both sides. They shared the importance of extending essential derma care to poverty stricken people and how a simple jar of Vaseline Petroleum Jelly can prevent minor skin problems from aggravating.  Finally the programme ended with Bipasha Hayat meeting some of the deprived patients who were visiting the hospital for skin care issues and personally donated jars of petroleum jelly to the patients.
Consumers who are interested to participate in the project can do so by visit6ing Vaseline Bangladesh Facebook page. Vaseline Petroleum Jelly jars collected through the “Vaseline Healing Project” will be handed over to the underprivileged people.
