PM offers prayers at shrines in Sylhet

SYLHET: Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina yesterday offered prayer at the shrines of Hazrat Shahjalal (RA) and Hazrat Shah Paran (RA) here, reports UNB.
Sheikh Hasina, who earlier arrived here by Biman Bangladesh Airlines flight on a daylong visit to join the flag-raising ceremony of the newly-established 11 Infantry Brigade under 17 Infantry Division of the Bangladesh Army, first went to the mazar of Hazrat Shahjalal (RA).She spent there some time by reciting the holy Quran and offering Fateha and munajat.
Later, the Prime Minister visited the mazar of Hazrat Shah Paran (RA) on the outskirts of the city. She also recited the holy Quran and offered Fateha and munajat there.
