ICT career camp held 
OUR CORRESPONDENT, Manikganj

Information and communication technology (ICT) career camp was held at Government Devendra College in Manikganj yesterday with the assistance of Information and Communication and Engineering department of the college.
Bangladesh ICT department and Computer Council jointly organised the camp under the project of leveraging ICT for growth, employment and governance at the college auditorium around 10.00 am.
Deputy Commissioner of Manikganj Rashida Ferdous addressed the programme as chief guest while Principal of the college Professor Mohammed Shajahan presided over the programme. Additional Deputy Commissioner (general) Monjur Mohammed Morshed, Associate
Professor Akheruzzaman and ICT specialist Sukumar Chowdhury, among others, spoke.

Man ‘commits suicide’
OUR CORRESPONDENT, Nilphamari

A man allegedly committed suicide by hanging himself from a tree at South Titpara village in Dimla upazila of the district yesterday.
He was identified as Sontosh Kumar Roy, 35, son of Haricharan Roy of the village.
Local people found the body of Sontosh hanging from a mango tree near his house and informed police yesterday evening.  Assistant Sub-inspector of Dimla Police Station Firoj Alam said Sontosh was suffering from mental illness.

Training on computer held 
CHUADANGA: A day-long training on using of computer and motor vehicle driving was held at local zila parisad auditorium on Tuesday, reports BSS.
Administrator of Chuadanga Zila Parisad Mahfuzur Rahman Manju formally opened the programme as the chief guest.
A total of 78 unemployed youths from different areas of four upazilas of the district took part in the training course. Assistant engineer of Chuadanga Zila Parisad Samadul Hoque presided over the function.

Teenage boy dies in road crash
MANIKGANJ: A motorcyclist was killed on Dhaka-Aricha highway near Barangail Bus Stand on Tuesday afternoon, reports BSS.
The victim was identified as Raju Ahmed, 14, son of Abdul Halim of Khalisha village in Shibalaya upazila. He was a student of Shakrail High School.
