In a bid to protest against the implementation of the Rampal coal-based power plant, the National Committee to Protect Oil, Gas, Mineral Resources, Power and Port will start its "Cholo, Cholo, Dhaka Cholo" long-march programme on November 24. During a press conference at Mukti Bhaban yesterday, Sheikh Mohammad Shahidullah, convener of the committee, said that seven different long marches would start from seven different corners of the country and eventually meet at the Central Shaheed Minar in Dhaka on November 26. The long marches will start from Rampal in Khulna division, Panchagarh in Rangpur division, Netrokona in Mymensingh division, Patuakhali in Barishal division, Kansat in Rajshahi division, Sunamganj in Sylhet division and Cox’s Bazaar in Chittagong.
