Vice-Chancellor of Dhaka University Professor AAMS Arefin Siddique said the cultural renaissance must be created among the young generation to resist the religious fundamentalism, militancy and social unrest, reports BSS. Stressing on the expansion of cultural activities he said, “There is no alternative to resist the religious militancy without creating cultural renaissance among the young generation of the country,” he told the concluding ceremony of a cultural function on the campus, a press release said yesterday. Teacher Student Center and DU Sangskritik Sangsad jointly organised the programme at the TSC auditorium.
