Members of Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) in a drive seized a huge quantity of yaba, phensidyl and liquor worth about Tk 9.7 lakh from Karpashdanga village in Damurhuda upazila of the district on Monday.
Mohammad Amir Mozid, director of BGB battalion-6, said based on secret information a team of BGB, led by Commander Ohidul Islam, conducted a raid in the area and recovered 2774 pieces of yaba, 40 bottles of wine and 202 bottles of phensidyl in abandoned condition.A case was filed with Damurhuda Police Station.
