Rangpur Riders toppled Khulna Titans by playing a better cricket to place on pole position on the points table. They have to play further better to survive in the completion, which is drifting towards the most intense of the third phase.
Riders all-rounder Ziaur Rahman said that they have formulated a plan by whom they want to go through the rest of the tournament.
“We are now on top but we still have left six matches. We still have a long way ahead. Meanwhile we have devised a match by match plan with the help of our coach, captain and team management. As per that plan, we are moving forward,” said Ziaur Rahman yesterday.
“For this our bowlers and batsmen are faring well. Bowlers are bowling in right place. They are bowling according to our plan,” Rahman told media after the end of the match.
When asked about Soumya Sarkar, who is passing a patchy form, pace all-rounder said that he will soon come in form.
“Soumya is very good player. He is passing a worse time. We did not take it seriously. He is free and does his practice well. Hopefully he will soon come back in runs,” the national discard said.
