Two held with yaba tablets in Ctg

Police in separates drive arrested two persons with 1,820 yaba tablets in Bakalia area of the city early yesterday. The arrestees are --- Md Kamal Hossain and Forkan Ahmed Prakash Raju. Mohammad Mohsin, officer-in-charge of Bakalia police station, said acting on a tip-off, police searched a bus of ‘Relux Paribahan’ in Shah Amanat bridge area around 01:45 am and seized 1,620 yaba tablets from Kamal’s possession.
In another drive in Naya Masjid area around 04:30 am, police seized 200 yaba tablets from Raju’s possession, said the OC adding, a case was lodged against the arrestees in these connections.
