Man killed, 25 hurt in road crash

KUSHTIA: A man was killed and 25 others were injured as a bus turned turtle in Bittipara area on Kushtia-Khulna highway yesterday morning, reports BSS. The deceased was identified as Sayedur Rahman, 42, hailed from Magura. He was the area manager of BRAC Bank's Kushtia branch. Police said the accident took place when the driver of the bus lost control over the steering while overtaking another vehicle and hit a roadside tree, leaving one passenger dead on the spot and 25 others injured. The injured were sent to Kushtia General Hospital.
