Expatriates Welfare and Overseas Employment Minister Engineer Khandker Mosharraf Hossain said the government has a plan to construct 439 new technical training in the country, reports BSS. The plan initiated at the directives of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina is now under consideration of the planning ministry," he said while replying to a question from treasury bench member Farhad Hossain in the House yesterday. The minister said the government would set up technical training centres at the district level to increase the number of trainees to 1.50 lakh annually. "The government is constructing a technical training centre in Meherpur district to provide training to job seekers. The work on the centre would be completed in December this year," he said. Moshrraf said the training programme at the centre would begin in January 2016.
